This session will examine the various powerful learning opportunities that a classroom Hydroponics/Aquaponics system presents and identify what you will need to get started.
We will talk about: -Where is the curricular value for hydro/aquaponics? (Math, Science, Social Studies, English, it all works) - How do you get started with your class? - Where are the best places to spend and save money? - What types of systems can your class build from simple to complex?
Participants will leave the session with a small scale hydroponics set up of their own and everything they need to begin this project with their class or at home.
